Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to me. In the following I will explain how I treat your personal information.

Collecting personal information

I do collect, store and use information that you provide (first and last name, postal address, email address, telephone number) to me when registering with my website and placing an order. I do it in compliance with the German Data Protection Act. I don’t share these information with anyone except the online printing service whitewall (www.whitewall.com), who produces and delivers your purchased products to you by his logistics partner UPS.

There is no further forwarding of your information for purposes other than to fulfil, realise and terminate the contractual relationship between you and me.

Cookies

To make this site work properly, I place cookies on your device like most other websites, too.

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, shopping cart content, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

I use “persistent” and “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

You can prevent cookies from being installed by choosing a “disable cookies” option in your browser settings. You should be aware, however, that by doing so you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of my website.

PIWIK

I use the web analysis service PIWIK on my website which uses cookies. The information generated by these cookies, such as time, place and frequency of your visits to our site, including your IP address, are transmitted to my PIWIK server and stored there. As part of this process, you IP address is immediately anonymized so that you as user remain anonymous to me. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this site is not transferred to third parties.

Use of Facebook components

I use social plug-ins from facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.

Each time my website receives an access request equipped with a Facebook component, the component prompts your browser to download an image of this Facebook component. Through this process, Facebook is informed precisely which page of my website is being visited.

When you access my site while logged into Facebook, Facebook uses information gathered by this component to identify the precise page you are viewing and associates this information to your personal account on Facebook. Whenever you click on the “Like“ button, for example, or enter a comment, this information is transmitted to your personal account on Facebook and stored there. In addition, Facebook is informed of your visit to my website. This occurs regardless of whether you click on a component or not.

For details about handling of your personal data by Facebook and your related rights, please refer to the data privacy policy of Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to map data collected about you via my website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before you visit our web pages.

In addition, you can block the Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser. To do so, just follow the link: “Facebook Blocker”.

Information/ Cancellation/ Deletion

You may contact me at no cost if you have questions relating to the collection, processing or use of your personal information, if you wish to request the correction, blocking or deletion of the same, or if you wish to cancel explicitly granted consent. Please note that you have the right to have incorrect data corrected or to have personal data deleted, where such claim is not barred by any legal obligation to retain this data.

The legal framework for data protection may be found in the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).
